A few weeks back my good friend Danielle and I trekked across CT, NY, and PA to see the one and only John Michael Cooper of AltF photography. The man….the legend…. He held a traveling workshop this summer and we attended the Lancaster stop at the fabulous Wiebners studio. It was awesome and we got schooled in rocking weddings AltF style. His ad in Wedding Style simply says….”Very Different Wedding Photography” - yeah, he’s my hero. Honestly if it wasn’t for him and a few other trend-breakers out there in the industry I wouldn’t even be doing wedding photography. I told him that in Lancaster and he said, “Ah man, I’m sorry about that!” Ha ha! No need to apologize……I’m still loving weddings more than ever.

I had three more boudoir sessions last weekend and here’s a little glimpse of our lovely Miss N who did an amazing job working her nursing skills in front of the camera…..you go girl. Special thanks goes to the lovely Stacey Palancia of Blush Couture for some awesome make-up skills and making my job that much easier.

I can’t believe the day has finally come…my little girl is all grown up and headed to kindergarten. I took these pictures a few days ago and it’s taken me this long to accept the fact that she’s a big kid now that goes on the big kid bus. I’m not going to lie….Amber and I were going to follow the bus and hide in the bushes at school. And yes, we thought about peering through the windows for the whole 4 hours she was sitting in class. Well…next thing you know she’ll be bringing boys home to meet her dad with the huge gun and machete collection.

Yay! She’s baaaaack!!!

It was another super-busy shooting weekend with a day-after session, 3 boudoirs, and an awesome engagement session with the uber-rad Crystal and Matt in Sherman, Connecticut. They were total naturals in front of the camera and we had the most amazing early evening light working for us. I’m REALLY looking forward to their wedding in March at the Candlewood Inn…..definitely stay tuned for their slideshow!

I brought the camera and Cassie & Max brought the extra dose of awesomeness.  Here’s a quick sneak peak of our day after session we had tonight….ok, ok, more like month after session.  But, you get the idea.  To all my fabulous couples out there:  not enough time before the wedding for your engagement session?  Let’s make it a day after session instead.  It’s simple…get back in your wedding dress, take some slamming photos, no pre-wedding stress.
